Brenda provides a strategic overview of relevant policies and issues as they apply to diverse projects. She is a highly experienced and qualified inclusive design consultant with over fourteen years’ experience and has guided private and public sector clients internationally on commercial, residential, institutional, external environments and public realm projects such as York and Bath city centres.

Brenda completed an MSC in Environment and Development at the LSE and has spent many years working on international development projects in Zambia, South Sudan, post-war reconstruction in Kosova, and emergency projects in western Africa. 

Brenda is very active in local sustainable travel campaigning. She won the Living Streets Charles Maher award in 2019 for her successful campaign on facilitating the creation of community parklets in Hackney and coordinates Hackney Living Streets. Brenda is on the Design Council CABE panel of Built Environment Experts, (BEEs) and has spoken at a number of international and national conferences on inclusive design.
