Dimitris joined Scala Colab to reduce global carbon footprint by innovating. He also wants to change the way we build to make existing and new environments more sustainable. Dimitris is an enthusiastic Mechanical/Environmental engineer. 

At Scala Colab he undertakes research and Impact Assessments to quantify the magnitude of improvement already possible today. He uses tools creatively to conduct context driven analysis by synthesising information from multiple data sources to help existing buildings adapt and minimise the effects of global warming such as heat Island effect and flood risks on people in future.

He holds a BEng from Sussex University with First-Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc with Distinction in Environmental Design and Engineering from UCL’s Bartlett. He is also an accredited BREEAM Associate. His hobbies include snowboard, motorsports, tennis and hiking.
